Will this also fit the 3rd Gen itouch? It says it will fit the the 1st and 2nd gen, but I am unsure if there are any changes that would mean it would not play the 3rd gen. Thanks!

  Some of the software in some version of the Ipods will not play on this unit, as is the case with the Ipod 3rd generation.
