The M6600 supports dual tuner and H264/MPEG2 high definition TV broadcasting as well as standard definition digital TV. It can record two different RF channels simultaneously, or record one channel while allowing you to watch other channels at the same time. Time shifting allows you access for instant playback when you miss something on TV and also supports scheduled recording based on the EPG (electronic program guide). You can also move your recorded programs to your PC for back-up and editing.

Supporting H264, 1080p formatted videos as well as other advanced formats such as RMVB, VC-1 and WMV9 the DVico TViX is convenience bundled into one. The dual tuner H264 HD PVR with time-shifting adapts to 802.11n as a Wi-Fi to maximise the connectivity to your computer. It also supports HDMI 1.3 output which is compatible with uncompromised digital videos and next generation HD audio formats.

Maximising performance the 6640N supports H264 (profile 4.1) high definition video up to 1080p. It also supports 24Hz frame rate to optimise the performance of the target TV or display while maintaining constant vivid and clear HD picture quality.

The M6640N adapts high resolution (1080p) user interface to maximise the usability and quality of subtitles. By supporting true-type vector font the M6640N maintains absolute quality even when the font size is changed.

The internal 802.11n Wi-Fi module harmonises with today's wireless network environment - such as wireless connectivity of your laptop - to give you total convenience. Forget about the hassle of finding Ethernet cables or multimedia discs. With Wi-Fi you can easily stream your recorded HDTV programs directly to your PC.

Adapting an aluminium top case, the air flow path is redesigned to maximise heat distribution thus assisting in the prevention of over heating. The low-noise, large wind capacity of 60mm ball-bearing fans will reduce both heat and noise. This new fan is controlled by internal temperature sensing. Replacing and removing HDD is too easy as the M6640N adapts the new HDD installation and removal mechanism to make things easier for you.
