For such a small computer, it is great. I can type my favorite documents. Transfer my favorite music from my Desktop PC by memory stick to EasyNotebook. The sound is great for such a small one. And you can add your own external speaker system for a bigger sound.
One problem though, cannot find an external DVD drive to be compatible with it.
Transfer my pictures from my desktop, or download more from Google. Very much the same as Windows XP - an abridged edition. Easy access to the internet.
Light and easy to carry around.

Hello, im just wondering if this device has an applicaton for writing essays, (like microsoft word). and will this notebook work if working at a school in the UK? would i need a internet USB connection for using the internet
thanksAsked on 21/1/2010 by Narelle2 answers
A:
1. Yes, it contains a word processor.
2. It will work in the UK, but you will need an adapter in order to plug it into the mains power there.
3. You need a wifi hotspot at the school (the machine already contains wireless networking capability) or a wired Ethernet connection to the internet. Check with the school to see if they run their own wireless Wifi network. Mobile broadband does not work with this computer. If you require the ability to connect to the internet anywhere, then you should take a look at the other netbooks on this site that run Windows XP/Vista/7 or Linux.Answered on 24/1/2010 by Chrislees from Perth, WAA:
No this operating system windows CE does not support Usb internet Sticks from ISP'S. There are no drivers available for any IPS provider, it also doesnt meet the minimum specs.Answered on 4/2/2010 by kalloggs40 from Sydney, NSW

Does this Produce have a CD/DVD for installing programs?Asked on 4/1/2010 by Alan Short from Ryde, NSW1 answer
A:
There is no optical drive. You probably won't find many Windows CE-compatible programs available on CDs and DVDs anyway.Answered on 9/1/2010 by ChrisLees from Perth
Q:
Is it possible to use a mobile broadband modem with the Easynote?
Eg one of those usb style modems to connect to the internet anytime?Asked on 4/1/2010 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
You should check with your mobile broadband provider, but generally the makers of mobile broadband dongles do not provide Windows CE drivers. If you need mobile broadband capability you should look at a netbook running full Windows or Linux.
You can, however, access free Wifi hotspots on the Easynote.Answered on 9/1/2010 by ChrisLees from Perth
Q:
Can you add more memory to this notebook?Asked on 4/1/2010 by Vick from Tasmania1 answer
A:
You can add SD memory as a hardrive but not as system memory. If your thinking of installing windows XP it wont work because the CPU Runs under different instructions. Its not an x86 CPU. You can only install other versions of linux and thats about it.Answered on 4/2/2010 by kalloggs40 from Sydney, NSW

Q:
Can i upgrade the program to vista or windows7?Asked on 12/12/2009 by Ydlog from Sydney1 answer
A:
No. 64Mb RAM will not run either of these Operating Systems, not by a long shot. As a guide you need 1024Mb RAM to run XP and min 2048Mb RAM to run Vista or Win 7. So as you can see 64Mb just aint gonna cut it.
Win CE is designed to run on small devices, such as PDAs and phones with small amounts of RAM. Mind you, 64Mb is very light on even for phones or PDAs these days. Most are coming out with 128Mb or 256Mb.
Also your 2Gb storage is no where near large enough to even store the Visa or Win7 code (let alone running it). I'm unsure exactly how much disk space they require, but it would be in the region of 10Gb to 15Gb.Answered on 13/12/2009 by Shelldrake07 from Perth, WA

I would suggest that Avast would be the better antivirus for this product - it's free, very good, and not such a drain on system resources like Norton is. Google it.Answered on 12/12/2009 by Mark from Perth, Western Australia
