Freecom, an award-winning manufacturer of external hard drives and portable storage devices, launched the Mobile Drive XXS in May 2009, an ultra-compact, 2.5" external hard drive which is designed to reliably expand your storage capacity without having to open up your computer. Freecom claim this USB powered Hard Drive to be the world's smallest 2.5" mobile hard drive and offers a storage capacity of 500GB. This makes it perfect for both home users and professionals who want to back up their data or carry it on the move.

Simply plug the Mobile Drive XXS, with its conveniently small USB cable, into any computer's USB port and take your spreadsheets, documents, movies, photos or music anywhere you go. The 'enclosure' is made out of rubber which will give you grip when holding the drive in your hand. It also comes with a compact sized USB Cable - all you need to connect and use the Mobile Drive XXS on your notebook or PC.
