This is the funny tale of a five year journey through
fertility, and infertility-from a man's perspective.
Mikael has mutant sperm that can't fertilise an egg.
He doesn't think his wife blames him for it, but still
feels inadequate - 'having useless balls is about as
bad as having no balls at all,' he says.
Mikael hates infertility books as they focus too much
on the woman and make him feel insignificant. Mikael
doesn't set himself up as an expert and doesn't try
and sell one or another way to get pregnant.
What he does tell is the story of the roller-coaster he
and his wife and went through trying to get pregnant.
It has a happy ending though - they have two beautiful
daughters.
