Microprocessor Controlled Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Protects your Data
In the event of a loss of main power, the Legend UPS650HPL will maintain power supply from its on-board battery to your PC, notebook or electronic device for over 15 minutes. By signaling the loss of main power to your computer via USB cable (not included), it directs your computer to shut down properly, protecting your system data while sounding an audible alarm.

The battery is a high quality valve controlled lead acid battery which is little to maintenance-free for its working life and provides an easy access location for future change over without the need of a specialist technician.

Surge Protection for Devices That do Not Require UPS
When main power is lost or restored dangerous spikes can occur that can physically damage sensitive equipment such as displays, printers and TV monitors. The UPS650HPL surge protector not only protects all UPS ports but al provides two main power sockets to connect devices such as monitors and printers that may not require the UPS function. In addition to the power outlets, surge protection is also provided for telephone or modem by way of two RJ11 surge protected sockets (line in/out).

The surge protector is equipped with an auto diagnostic and audible alarm and includes a microprocessor controlled diagnostic panel indicating operating status and an alarm when the main power is lost. The on-board microprocessor manages the automatic charging of the UPS battery and signaling via then USB port.
