| Stretching and Flexibility - A Book by Kit Laughlin
This book will change your way of thinking about flexibility and should improve the way you go about achieving it. There are 96 stretching exercises to suit all body types and levels of fitness and flexibility, including exercises for hands and feet, athletes, and partners.
Kit Laughlin studied Oriental medicine during a five year stay in Japan, and was the Japanese Ambassador's personal shiatsu practitioner. He was awarded a Master of Letters degree by the Science Faculty of the Australian National University in 1992. Back pain was the main case study.
During the same period, he established the Posture & Flexibility and Strength & Flexibility courses at the Australian National University Sports and Recreation Association. Assisted by fifteen teachers, whom he trained, he has been running these courses at the university for nineteen years. The system presented in this book is based on these courses, and has been taught to many thousands of students of all ages, with proven results.
He is the current president of the National Association of Stretch Therapists, and an internationally-renowned presenter on this subject. |
