Enjoy perfect fried foods at home, every time! This 1850-watt deep fryer from Tefal features simple, easy to use controls and an adjustable thermostat for selecting the perfect cooking temperature.
After setting your temperature a "temperature-ready" light indicates when the oil has reached the selected frying temperature. The large enamel, scratch resistant, easy to clean bowl holds 4L of oil and up to 1.2kgs of food.
Not only does the fryer offer simple operation and flexibility, but it also provides several safety features. The unit's design includes cool-touch handles and a safe-to-touch lid, external basket control to ensure splatter-free frying, and automatic shut off with a signal bell for peace of mind.
Tefal have really gone to town with this fryer. The simple on/off switch and a 60-minute timer for precision cooking and multi-tasking in the kitchen, a large viewing window to check on food while it's cooking, and an integrated folding handle for easy storage.
The washable filter helps reduce cooking odours, and all parts except for the heating element are dishwasher-safe for quick cleanup. Attractively presented in brushed stainless steel outer.

I use it about twice a week. It is used for "home cooking". It heats up to the required temperature reasonably quickly. The food basket is visible while the food is being cooked. It is quite bulky so it is hard to stow away when not in use, as it is full of oil which could make a mess if spilled.
