Triple Pack DVD - Pink Ribbon Edition: Doris Day and Rock Hudson - Pillow Talk, Send Me No Flowers and Lover Come Back: This great box set includes the following titles :
Pillow Talk : Brad Allen is a songwriter and notorious playboy. Jan Morrow is an interior decorator. They share a telephone party line, over which they develop a dislike for each other. But when Brad eventually sees Jan, and takes in her face and figure, the events that follow in this uproarious romantic comedy succeed in giving new meaning to the phrase "All's fair in love & war."
Send Me No Flowers : Hudson is hilarious as an obsessed hypochondriac who mistakenly overhears his doctor discussing the impending death of a patient. Believing the poor victim is himself, Hudson elicits the help of his friend and neighbour, Tony Randall, to find a new husband for his soon to be widowed wife. Randall, unfortunately, isn't much help, as he deals with his upcoming loss by downing martinis. Alarmed by her husbands' increasingly strange behaviour, Day becomes even more frustrated when an old paramour shows up at their country club and lavishes his attentions on her!
Lover Come Back: Jerry Webster (Rock Hudson) and Carol Templeton (Doris Day) are rival Madison Avenue advertising executives who are vying for the same clients. After Jerry steals a client out from under Carol's nose, she plans to gain access to his secret "VIP" campaign, in order to persuade the client to switch to her firm. The only trouble is that Jerry has invented the "VIP" product to get himself out of a jam. Co-starring the ever-delightful Tony Randall as Peter Ramsay, Jerry's luckless boss, 'Lover Come Back' is fun to watch and is an great comedy classic, full of outrageously funny moments.
