For as long as Anna Sui can remember she always wanted to be a fashion designer. After studying in New York at The New School's famous art and design college, Parsons The New School for Design, Anna began designing clothing out of her apartment which retailed at locations such as Macy’s and Bloomingdale's. With the encouragement from big names in the fashion industry, Sui launched her first runway show in 1991...the rest as they say is history.

In 2009, Anna Sui won the CFDA Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award (Council of Fashion Designers of America), which serves to honour outstanding individuals in the fashion industry.

Today, the Anna Sui clothing, fragrance, cosmetic, and accessories lines sell globally in over 50 countries.
