After its purchase of IBM’s PC Division in 2005, Lenovo, the international brand of Legend Holdings, was catapulted to the position of the world’s 4th largest computer manufacturer.

Lenovo was a partner sponsor of the 2006 Winter Olympics and the 2008 Olympics, in the process winning the design competition for the Beijing Olympic Torch.

Lenovo has recently been involved with F1 Motorsport, and sponsored the McLaren F1 Team in 2009.
