Morphy Richards was started by engineer Donal Morphy & businessman Charles Richards and has been manufacturing home appliances for over 70 years. The company was first registered on 8th July 1936, as a private company manufacturing and dealing in electrical, gas, radio and television equipment.

The first Morphy Richards appliance was manufactured in 1936 with the second manufactured the following year. Both appliances did extremely well, seriously undercutting the competition and making an impact on the market.

Today Morphy Richards can celebrate over 10 years as No1 in kitchen appliances in the UK. With their products proving to be so popular that at least one Morphy Richards product can be found in 90% of household throughout the UK.

Introduced onto the Australian market in 2002, Morphy Richards provides Australian customers with quality designed small appliances including irons, kettles and toasters to slow cookers and steamers.
