RACO was established in 1948 and was manufactured in Australia until 1996. Manufacturing then moved to South East Asia in line with the acquisition of the brand by the Meyer Cookware Corporation.

Traditionally a cookware brand, ranging for RACO has now expanded across a number of categories including non-stick and stainless steel cookware, bakeware, cast iron, utensils, kettles, pressure cookers and roasters. Today RACO product is manufactured in Thailand, China and Italy to very strict quality control standards.
