Born Usher Raymond IV, American recording artist and actor, Usher rose to fame in the 1990s after releasing the multi-platinum album My Way (1997). His success continued with albums 8701 (2001) and Confessions (2004), which sold over ten million copies in the US. To date, he has sold over 40 million albums world wide and is the recipient of five Grammy Awards.

Aside from recording, Usher ventured in to other businesses included establishing his own record label, marketing his own fragrance and buying into the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA franchise.
