Marketing
This includes the ‘visual merchandising’ (listing on our website) of every product available for sale at OO.
Roles in this area include creative writing, photography, data capture of new product arrivals (of which there are over 100 each week) and high levels of interaction with our buying, warehousing and technical teams.

Buying
Our customers expect to find an amazing, always changing range of quality merchandise from us at absolutely unbelievable prices.
Our hard working buyers and their assistants liaise with our established base of over 200 suppliers on their latest and greatest offers, and also search the country and the world for new ranges, at discounted prices, so we could continue to exceed our customers’ expectations.
Each week we receive many offers and our buyers undertake research and assess the best of the best, and then manage the flow of these products into the business, and present them for sale to our customers.

Finance
Like all businesses, our numbers people are very important.
Our customers expect their orders to be approved and dispatched as a matter of priority, so our finance team works hard to process orders at super fast speed so that they may be picked, packed and shipped - in most cases on the same day they are placed.
Skills looked for in this area are attention to detail, reliability, common sense and logical thought processes, being able to work quickly yet accurately, accounting knowledge, willingness to learn, and the ability to work under pressure. Warehousing
This is the engine room that powers our business. Our hard working warehouse team controls and handles the thousands of items coming into and out of our business each day.
While you need to be fit and physically able, our Warehouse Stars certainly aren’t all brawn and no brains. We use the latest, paperless, state of the art systems to get our work done in the most efficient way, and the most valued skills are ability to work quickly yet accurately, have good attention to detail, be reliable, committed to working with the team, and being the kind of person that loves to get things done and make a difference.

A forklift license is an advantage but is not essential to get a role in our warehouse team. Both casual and full time applicants are considered.
Technical
Great customer service is what makes OO tick. Part of that is dealing with those small percentage of order that encounter faults and problems in the fastest and most cost effective way, so that our customers face the least possible inconvenience with returns and warranty claims.
We process all returns, assess the reason for return and wherever possible repair the faults to ensure that problems are resolved first time, every time.
Skills valued in this area are ability to deal with customers in a friendly and patient manner, both over the phone and via email. Technical skills especially in repairing consumer electronics are essential.
Our technicians also test and assess incoming stock, providing essential technical information to our listing and customer service teams to ensure we communicate the products’ features and capabilities to our customers. We work closely with many of our valued suppliers and they rely on us to provide feedback and suggestions.

In our totally ‘new world’ business we have a great ‘traditional’ destination for our customers where they can come touch and feel our stock, get to see real people and shop directly through our showroom – at the same amazingly low prices as found on our website.
Our showroom is over 600m2 and stocked full with our great range of bargains.

Customer Service
We have lots of customers, and lots of orders. Our customer service is what makes our customers love us, especially on those rare occasions when things don’t go quite according to plan.
We assist our customers over the phone, via email and when they come into our offices. This function is critical, as without customer satisfaction there will be no customers.
