Help for the oo.com.au iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch Application

To shop on oo.com.au from your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, you'll need to visit the iPhone App Store and download the oo.com.au iPhone App. The app is FREE.


Installing The App:

  1. Visit www.apple.com/iphone/appstore/ by tapping the App Store icon on your mobile device. You can also get the application through the iTunes Store
  2. Search for oo.com.au
  3. Follow the on-screen install instructions.

When your installation is complete, simply tap the oo.com.au Application icon on your mobile device to start browsing and shopping at oo.com.au.


The oo.com.au iPhone Application
We have designed the oo.com.au iPhone Application to be easy and efficient to use on a small screen device, providing a tailored browsing and transacting experience.
You can:

  • browse the full range of products available through the oo.com.au website, including the current 24 Hour Deal, all clearance lines, or the full product range
  • purchase any number of items with payment by either PayPal or Credit Card(processed by PayPal)
  • fill up a shopping cart of items for later review - the application remembers your shopping cart and displays the number of items in a red circle on the application icon itself
  • choose to have your payment details stored on your iPhone (secured by PayPal) for faster checkout in future

Ordering
This is typically a 3 step process. Search, Add To Cart and Payment, all designed in such a way that you can efficiently find exactly what you're looking for in the shortest possible time.


Product Search
The iPhone Application provides a number of convenient ways of finding exactly what you want:

  • Search: on the bottom bar there's a "Search" link through which you can enter one or more keywords to search through our extensive product range. Tap on any matching rows to find out more about the product
  • Clearance: if you're looking for products that are on sale only then browse through the Clearance categories. Just tap on the Clearance link on the bottom bar
  • Browse All: if you feel like browsing all our available lines by category then tap the "More..." link below and then tap on Browse All to browse our extensive range by category of product

Add To Cart
Once you've found an item you're interested in, tap the quantity box to choose the quantity you wish to order, then tap the "add to cart" button. This will add the product in the desired quantity to your shopping cart. Continue browsing and adding to cart like this until you are done. If you exit the application or get interrupted by a phone call the application will remember your shopping cart for when you're ready later. If you wish to remove any item from your cart then tap the Edit button on the cart screen then tap the Delete button alongside the item. If you wish to change the quantity of an item you have ordered then simply tapping the item in your cart will take you to the item where you can change the quantity and then update the cart with the new quantity.


Payment
With the help of PayPal's mobile payments solution we offer a simple, streamlined checkout process. When you're ready to place your order tap the Checkout Now button on the cart page. This will show you a receipt page which includes a consolidated delivery charge and a final order total. Tap the Pay with PayPal button to make secure payment through the PayPal mobile payment engine. If you change your mind you can cancel out of the process and return to your shopping cart to make any amendments you wish, then return to PayPal when you're ready to pay. On completion of payment you are presented with an order number and a receipt is automatically emailed to you.

Limitations
There are some limitations in the current release:

  • orders are only available for delivery, the pickup option is not available
  • the payment options of BPay and Direct Deposit are not available
  • velocity rewards cannot be earned on iPhone application orders
